A couple of months ago I fell in love with a bookcase almost exactly like this at Pottery Barn. Unfortunately, it was way out of my budget. I happened upon BookcasesGalore.com and couldn't believe what I found. These were exactly what I was looking for. I ordered 2 of them to go on the sides of my fireplace. Not only do they look great for displaying photos and old books, but they also have 2 hidden drawers for storage. I happen to use them for hiding diapers and wipes for my kids. Another nice feature about these bookcases is that they light up. Unlike others I found with wood shelves, the glass shelves on these bookcases allow the light to flow through the entire cabinet. Lastly, these are massive pieces of furniture. They are very heavy and sturdy. I truly feel like I made an investment that will pay off for a lifetime.
