Description

With a set of Leather Parsons Dining Chairs in your home, comfort and style will never be an issue again. The contemporary European-designed side chair features genuine bi-cast leather, while the frame and legs are constructed of solid birch wood. Finished in a rich espresso color, this chair coordinates with most of today's decors. The bi-cast leather covering will give years of wear and easy care, and it uses web seating for comfort. For added decor versatility, the chairs are available in brown, black, or red. The leather chair works well as a compact dining chair or as a game chair for any game room. Benefits of Bicast (also bycast) Leather
Bicast is a split leather with a layer of polyurethane applied to the surface and embossed. This makes it much more durable, tear-resistant, and fade-resistant compared to standard leather. It retains a shinier, "new" look. The treatment involved in bicast leather eliminates impurities and imperfections in color. It is definitely leather; it's simply treated to make it stronger and easier to maintain and clean.

I was petrified at the thought of ordering a chair that I had never actually got to sit in. But it was the price of them that made me do it! I was so happy I did! They are not only beautiful, yet very comfortable. They are exactly what we wanted. Its hard to find the wood legs dark enough in stores, yet these were perfect. I wish it was easier to find this color in other pieces of furniture! These are well worth the money. We initially ordered 4 and after getting them, went back to order another set of 2. We use the first set at the dining table and the others at our desk. We found that half of the chairs had a slight imbalance on our floor with a slight wobble, but when you sit in it, it stays flat and in place. Out of 8 chairs, 4 came this way, but that is just the only thing that I could find to pick about. No biggy at all. I would certainly buy these again without hesitation!

After reading mostly positive reviews, I opted to purchase the black leather Parsons chairs--they appeared quite attractive and were the style I had been looking for, for a very good price. One of the boxes arrived with some exterior damage, and upon opening the box, hardware was scattered everywhere. I was able to recover all but 10 lock washers and was going to buy them separately until other issues arose. Two of the chairs had holes punched in the paper thin velcro attached backing on the seat cushion. I initially thought I would just request replacement parts, but was informed by customer service that they did not carry parts and that I could return the chairs for complete replacement. I had no issues with odors, but 2 of the 4 were difficult to assemble--the holes for the screws did not line up well at all. I think that if I worked longer I could have gotten them together, but after sitting on the 2 that I assembled easily, I found the chairs to be extremely uncomfortable. They are quite narrow seats--only 17 inches--with only fair padding. As these were purchased to replace our kitchen table chairs, the comfort level was found unacceptable and I requested returns for the damaged backing on the seats as well as the difficult assembly. Customer service was quite nice in my 2 encounters with them, and immediately emailed FedEx shipping labels to allow for a full refund. I would buy something from the company again, just not these chairs.

I like the product except 2 of the chairs wobble.
Hayneedle was great swapping out my other chairs that could not be assembled (holes were drilled in the wrong spots).
I will definitely buy from Hayneedle again!

After reading mostly positive reviews, I opted to purchase the black leather Parsons chairs--they appeared quite attractive and were the style I had been looking for, for a very good price.
