Awesome! Super happy with the "Dark Walnut" table and it fits perfectly in my small kitchen. I am a single mom and was able to put the table together myself. However, it did take around 5 hours to finish, but OMG it was ALL worth it!! I actually had fun putting it together. I am going to get a protective coating today. :)

I searched everywhere to find this Breakfast nook set! [...]When I began putting the set together I realized the directions were only for the long bench to be on the right but I needed it on the Left... there were no directions for this assembly.... I eventually figured it out.. and I had to take it all apart and switch the two end pieces... It was a pain in the butt! The directions that were included did not have any words at all! Just very complex pictures(towards the end). It would have been helpfull to have written directions when I got hung up on the pictures...I usually never read the direstions but in this case it would have helped! The table and bench top itself is scratched very very easily... almost as if its "soft." It is a very cute table though .... if you have lots of children I do not recommend buying it but if your in a starter home, its perfect...

    This took a while to assemble and was confusing at times. The wood surface scratches and dents easily.

    Service and delivery comments:

    Delivery was on time but the entire shipment was not left at my address on request. The drawer bottoms were both damaged on the ends.

      This product was the most difficult thing i have ever put together. some of the screws would not screw in no matter what, had to ogo buy similar but smaller screws. Also the one side of the table had some gouges ( small) in the table top, probably from production, nothing intentional. Beautiful table though, just wouldnt of bought it if I knew how hard it would be.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      The Breakfast nook set is very, very pretty. It is a rich, warm honey color. The measurements provided are on the mark. It fits like a glove in a little nook in our kitchen. The kids love eating and coloring there. (I agree with other reviewers that the wood is soft and should be protected if it will be used as your primary eating space.) However, assembly is very time consuming and difficult. We followed other reviewers advice and tried so hard not to over tighten screws to avoid splintering but our wood split in several places. Hence, the 2 star rating.

      Service and delivery comments:

      Hayneedle was great in terms of communication and prompt shipping. I knew exactly when my order would be received, the number of boxes I should expect and they delivered exactly a promised. Additionally I had my new dining set within just a few days. Very good service.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
