Very modern and is perfect for a small family with little space. The benches are padded and comfortable and the table is sturdy and a great size and finish. We ordered a nook set from Cymax and the company is a total rip off and had me waiting for a discontinued item. I am happy they discontinued the wooden nook because this is so much better and sleek looking. Hayneedle was fanstastic to us:)The only thing that is a down side about the product is that when you are installing the padded seating you want to be careful not to tear it on the metal.

I received the table and the corner shelf leg is too long for the shelf itself. [...]. It took 4 hours to put it together and I'm not taking it apart and packing it up at this point. It says you can fit 6 people at the table, but I don't think that counts dinner settings unless 4 of them are kids eating off of very small plates.It does look cheaper than I thought it would look, but I really wanted a corner bench and this is the only modern looking set I could find for less than $600, so that's a plus. So, if you're on a budget and like the look... this set will do. There's nothing really special about it other than that it's great if you plan to have people over and just drink or play cards... eating might be a challenge though.Overall, I think I would recommend it only for its visual appeal and price.

Regardless of the other reviews. Directions are not any worse than any other flat box delivery item. After all, you are building a bench, table, and a corner bench. So it does take some time. All the parts were in great condition. The hardware was in individual packs for each portion of assembly and nothing was missing. Some of the bigger parts stickers had fallen off, but pay attention to the illustrations and no worries. Took 4 hours and no holes drilled. Very little frustration. Power drill for seats, seat backs, and table top is very handy. Final product is great and would recommend to anyone...make sure you have the time and ability to construct a good product that looks like the picture and description.

This product has a lot of problems. The cover on long seat is damaged, 3 legs do not have cover on the bottom, many holls do not have thread. We spent 2 days putting this set together, even thou my husband is professional furniture assembler. Really bad quality for the price. Very disappointed.

Difficult and time consuming assembly, especially if screwing seat cushions and table top by hand. Assembly took 8 hours solo. Instructions leave out which direction tabs should face, so pay close attention to the diagrams and think about the next steps. Don't assume that all pieces are labeled correctly. If you're up for the challenge, the finished product looks great and fits very well in smaller spaces.

I was extremely disappointed when I couldn't assemble this product. The parts didn't even fit together and it was unstable. I will be returning this product.

A: The table top material is a solid PVC that is very similar to a formica counter top which is very durable.
Q2: Is it possible to switch the long and short bench?
A: 51911mjn Unfortunately, the benches are not interchangeable on this item.
