We needed a table to go with a kitchen finished in maple and the choices were very slim. This table though not made of maple is passable for a maple piece that has been aged by sunlight.It does not have maple grain but a darker than true maple coloration. Also would be passable for an oak match.

I saw this table on several sites and tried to find it locally without any luck. Plus I could not find a single review on it so I am writing an extensive review so the next consumer will at least have a better idea about the table[...] I don't really own any Ready To Assemble furniture so I had my 15 and 14 year old daughters help, I told them it was a "life lesson", we got it done in 90 minutes. The instructions were just adequate but I was able to figure it out when they were confusing.Appearance: My biggest fear in ordering this was that the wood would be knotty, but it is all a smooth grain finish and is all made of solid wood. It looks great.Stability: I do have one chair leg that is not even, I got felt pads for the bottom of the legs and that helped a bit. Also, there was one bolt that did not line up when connecting the seat to the chair back, there are a total of 7 bolts that connect the seat to the back so having one missing does not seem to be a problem.Value: Hands down, Hayneedle was the best price around. I saw that one of those big mall anchor stores had this exact table on-line and it was priced in the thousands, yes thousands. OK, it is not worth that much but it is absolutely worth the price I paid for it on this site. Furthermore, that Scandinavian RTA company had nothing near the quality of this.
