The table is constructed of curved metal legs finished in a neutral chocolate color, with graceful curves and swirls that are reminiscent of English garden furniture. The tabletop features a wooden frame with inset slate tiles in natural earth-tone shades, forming a circular design. This piece measures 52 diam. x 36H inches.
Also included in this set are two Stone Forge Side Chairs, each made of curved metal that matches that of the table base. The ladder-style chair backs are gently curved for comfort and feature inset medallions of slate that match the design of the tabletop. Each chair is cushioned for comfort in textured taupe fabric. The chairs measure 23.62W x 24.5D x 41.25H inches. Some assembly is required on all elements of this dining set.
Notes on construction
All Riverside domestic furniture is constructed of fine wood harvested from American forests, including oak, ash, poplar, and pine. These wood types are durable and feature beautiful, open grains that make them much preferred amongst furniture manufacturers. Each piece of wood is first graded for quality at the Riverside lumber plant, then kiln-dried to remove excess moisture and prevent splitting. The wood is then sent to one of Riverside's three manufacturing plants, all located in Fort Smith, Ark. At that point, it is constructed into a high-quality furniture piece using a combination of hardwood solids and hand-selected veneers. Techniques used on Riverside pieces include dovetail joinery, heavy-duty drawer roller guides, and multi-step finish applications that include hand-sanding and polishing for a deep, lustrous result. All Riverside furniture is given this high-quality treatment to ensure the beauty and durability of your final product.
