The dining table and chairs were easy to assemble, I was worried i wasn't going to be able to get it to get it together. It was very simple. I love the granite top it matches my decor to the tee. If your looking for something nice this is it. Thanks Hayneedle.

This table is absolutely stunning. The table has a great finish which you cant completely see in the picture. The table top is made of small tiled marble pieces with silver specks which add a great subtlety to the piece. The table however is not made of one solid slab of marble. Looking at it closely it seems as though the table itself is a wood table top and they added marble (maybe 1/4" thick) of marble tiles to the table. That is one qualm I had with the description- its a bit misleading. Another problem I had with the set is the stiffness of the chairs. They were very uncomfortable at first. However, they are breaking in quite nicely. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. If your searching for a solid marble table top, this is NOT a marble slab. Like I described its tiled marble on top of a wooden table top. Also when I got the table there was a stain on the tabletop, I had to get granite cleaner to clean it off.
