Pros: This is a beautiful dining set and I absolutely love the wood/marble/iron combination. Most iron/wood sets I found were too small and looked too casual and cheesy, but this is a very classy design. I was also worried that the color was too light but it's actually a deeper brown than what it looks like in the pics. We did discover some defects though. The major defect is that there is a hump in one side of the table where the marble is and I can't get a glass top for it as it is (and that's a must) so we have to take it back to the retailer and try to get a new table. So check everything over very carefully.

I have looked for a table that would work in my kitchen for more than a year. I needed something to tie in the wood of our fireplace, crown molding and baseboards with the metal of our kitchen chandelier. This is perfect! I love the marble top but it does show water marks...although none have done permanent damage. The wood is finished nicely and the metal working is excellent. I have ordered a glass top to keep the marble from marking as we eat off of it daily. We get crumbs in the 'grout' between the marble pieces and the wood but they clean relatively easy.
