When I saw all the glowing reviews and 5 star ratings, I thought it was just too good to be true. I ordered it the afternoon of the 24th and it was delivered the morning of the 27th. It meets my expectations in every way. I am moving from a fairly large house with a dining room to an apartment where the living and dining space must be shared. This gives me the ability to have more people on the few occasions when I need it. The "pros" are accurate in my estimation.

The Stakmore expanding table looks far more expensive than the actual purchase price. Easy assemply and easy to use. I would recommend this product to friends.

This is an amazing value and a great idea. Looks beautiful and feels sturdy. Most of all, it fills a need for us in more ways than we expected. The table was easy to assemble ( done by hubby and son) and the chairs look and feel great. Even the seat pad has a subtle pattern on cream color , not flat white. But it is so subtle that you need to look close to see it.
It's nice that you can open it from the desk look to the middle size without needing to use one of the extenders. Quickly convertible.
We have have a fairly large home of 3800 sf but the layout could have been better. We have the combo formal LR where you walk up 3 steps to the DR. Size could have been better. We had a beautiful DR set made so well I could barely lift the chairs. Problem was the round table with a pedestal bottom that was too large. Because of that, it was impossible to tuck the chairs under the table. There was no room for the feet. We only kept 3 chairs in that room because of that. I think we realized within the year that the set was a mistake. We had a smaller glass table top made and removed a decorative table.
But we didn't look for anything new right away because we are the typical " formal living room, formal dining room" family who use the dining room maybe once a month. If that. We have an eat in kitchen, and silly as it is, DR is more for show.
This year I decided I was ready to find something else, but what.
Then I saw this. I looked at it for some time. But finally I just decided it was silly to have a room we rarely used. I read reviews , womdered how it would hold up, what it looked like.
No worries! Right now it's set up as a desk with 2 chairs looking out the window with the custom window seat that I could barely get to without moving those heavy chairs.
We are amazed at how much space we had ( but didn't see) in our dining room.
Table opens simply and we can also open it to the 6 feet, going from a round table to square allows more room even when at max size. Whereas the round design seemed to waste a lot of room.
We are so impressed I'm about to order another , in mission style for out kitchen. I suppose I had thing for round table when we decorated because the kitchen table is also.....round!
We can see that even at the middle size, this table will save space. Highly reccomend !
